Privacy Policy

eighty32 Toolbox ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. We designed it to work without accounts and without collecting your personal information.

Information we do not collect

The app has no login or user account. We do not collect names, emails, contacts, device identifiers for tracking, or location history. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Microphone & audio

Several measurement tools (such as the SPL meter, RTA, transfer function, loudness meter, phase correlation, delay finder, input-level tester, and 4-wire com test) use the microphone or a connected audio interface. Audio is processed live, on your device, to display measurements. It is not recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. The app only accesses the microphone while a tool that needs it is active, after you grant permission.

Network use

The app works offline for nearly all features. It contacts the internet only for:

• DTV channel lookup (optional): when you enter a ZIP code in the RF coordination tool, the app converts it to approximate coordinates on your device and queries the U.S. FCC's public TV Query service to list local broadcast TV channels. Only the approximate coordinates are sent; no personal information is included.
• Purchases: the optional one-time "Pro" unlock is handled entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit. We never see or receive your payment details.

Data storage

Any data you create (such as imported scan files, generated frequency lists, or saved playback cues) stays on your device. We have no servers and receive none of it.

Children's privacy

The app is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
